I move along the rock walking very close to Urai Sadoh, the Guide. I feel the need of his presence for I am now in a difficult situation. He reassures me and invites me to go on. He gives me the potion. I see a large bird descending. It gives me a twig, which I put in my mouth as if it were a cigarette. I am invited to breathe deeply. I exhale as if I were smoking and the breath takes the shape of an arrow, rising above.

And I have found both freedom and safety in my madness; the freedom of loneliness and the safety from being understood, for those who understand us enslave something in us.
But let me not be too proud of my safety. Even a Thief in a jail is safe from another thief.

Badalon holds a major role in the pristine developments of the Epic of the Sacred Cone, with particular reference to the creation and distribution of the Pahai Thula.
